This piece is part of my still life collection. I'm not a full time artist I work in my mums antique store and have grown up surrounded by vintage bits and pieces. This painting is a reflection of that part of my life.
It all started with the vintage woollen blanket and grew from there. I've named the painting 'The bush boys book' after the small book in the painting. The book is part of my mums personal collection, it was printed in 1933.
